The Okeechobee Youth Livestock Show and Sale has been in existence for over 40 years. This annual show and sale showcases our local 4-H and FFA students with steer, beef breeding, dairy, and swine livestock projects. It also includes a show for poultry and rabbit projects.
Each exhibitor works hard feeding and raising their project to be ready for the big week. To qualify, the exhibitors must also complete a record book. Many of the students compete on Quiz Bowl and judging teams that travel throughout the state and nation. The knowledge and experience gained through participating in these projects help our students to become successful adults.
