Little Miss Okeechobee
County Fair Pageant
Friday -March 12, 2009
Okeechobee Agri-Civic Center
6 pm in the Entertainment Tent

Applicant must be between the ages of 9-13 years old
by date of pageant and a resident of
Okeechobee County
or reside in the following areas: Buckhead Ridge
& Brighton Seminole Reservation.

Okeechobee County Fair Association is looking for
 young lady who will be the "little sister" to the
 Miss Okeechobee County Fair Teen USA Queen.
This is NOT a Glitz pageant.

Contestants will be judged during the
Runway Competition
Overall natural appearance - Character (sweetness)
Confidence -  Personality (spirit and individuality)

The contestants will also perform a group dance
choreographed by Leslie's Dance Studio!

The newly selected Little Miss Okeechobee County Fair
will join the Miss Okeechobee County Fair Queen and help in serving as hostesses to the Okeechobee County Fair  following her crowning.  Little Miss Okeechobee County Fair, will be the “little sister” to the 2010 Miss Okeechobee County Fair Teen, USA Queen.
It will be a fun and exciting year for our 1st Little Miss!
 

Applicant must be between the ages of 14-19 years old
by date of pageant and a resident of
Okeechobee County or reside in the following areas: Buckhead Ridge & Brighton Seminole Reservation.
Note: IRCC College students and out of area OHS graduates may also participate (please refer to qualifying rules, on application).

Contestants will be judged on the following:
Personal Interviews
Swimwear
Evening Gown
On-Stage Question

The 2010  Miss Okeechobee County Fair Queen
will be the official  hostess to the Okeechobee County
 Fair  following her crowning.
The winner shall elect to enter the
2011 Miss Teen Florida USA pageant
or receive a $1000.00 scholarship. 
During her reign, she will be active in many community
events as well as out of town events.

2009 Miss Okeechobee County Fair Queen
Alexandria Taylor Ming participated and placed in top 15 at the
2010 Miss Florida Teen USA Pageant!

The second annual Miss Okeechobee County Fair Pageant was held on March 13, 2009 at the Okeechobee County Fair.

Alexandria Ming took home the honor of becoming the 2009 Miss Okeechobee County Fair Queen.  At the time of  her crowing Alexandria  was 15 years old and a sophomore at Okeechobee High School.  Alexandria is the daughter of John Allen and Sharon Ming.

Alexandria plans to attend Indian River State College for two years before transferring to a University, which will best prepare her for a career in the CIA..

The entertaining pageant, "That Girl," was coordinated by Leslie Stokes and included entertainment by the award winning dance group of  Leslie's Dance Studio.

Ten beautiful young women competed in the pageant  The contestants were judged on  individual interviews, swimwear, evening gown, and on stage questions. The out of town judges reported that all the girls were great and the decision was a hard one.

After her crowing, Alexandria was be highly visible throughout the week of the Fair, and represented the Okeechobee County Fair at other events throughout her reign.

Alexandria's  won the chance to compete in the 2010 Miss Florida Teen USA pageant, where she placed in the top 15.
